Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Caspers' knee op was delayed so he had his second knee surgery last week on Tuesday 4th October (luxating patella). The operation was a lot more problematic than the last knee but he is doing very well indeed. He will be having his staples removed in a few days and then we will be preparing for his hip replacement in the new Year.
This photo was taken 5th October when he returned home after a night at the veterinary hospital. He was having some pain and not feeling too happy, poor Casper, hence the sad face, BUT, he is well on the mend now and back to his happy old self and getting into allsorts of mischief as usual. What would we do without him!

ReplyDeleteMy little chi has issues with his patella's too. I haven't taken him in for surgery though because he's so little and surgery scares me. He seems to be doing much better with it than he did when I first got him.

Thank you so much! Casper has fully recovered from his operation now, had his staples removed and even his fur is growing back quicker this time. He sends lotsa licks and slobbers to you all!
